Series Capacitance

The reciprocal of the total capacitance of n capacitors in series equals the sum of the reciprocals of each capacitor.

\frac{1}{C_{total}}=\frac{1}{C_{1}}+\frac{1}{C_{2}}+\frac{1}{C_{n}}

\frac{1}{C_{1}}=\frac{1}{C_{total}}-\frac{1}{C_{2}}-\frac{1}{C_{n}}

\frac{1}{C_{2}}=\frac{1}{C_{total}}-\frac{1}{C_{1}}-\frac{1}{C_{n}}

etc.
